アジア地域の省エネ計画Energy Conservation Plans in Asia
当研究所では東南アジア諸国へ積極的に研究員を派遣し、現地でのヒアリング調査などを展開。各国の家庭における住環境、ライフスタイルとエネルギー消費量といった情報を集め、分析しています。
今後はこうした調査結果とこれまで日本で培ってきた環境政策に関する知見を活かし、東南アジア諸国の省エネ計画の進展にも寄与したいと考えています。日本をはじめとする先進国とはライフスタイルも気候も異なる国ごと、地域ごとの「住環境」の実情を把握したうえで、最適な提案を行うことが当研究所のミッションであると考えています。
We are actively dispatching researchers to countries in Southeast Asia to develop interview surveys at the site. Thus far, we have conducted intensive research to grasp the real situation of each country, and have gathered information on their living environment, lifestyle, and energy consumption. Using these survey research results, and taking advantage of our existing knowledge on Japanese energy policy, we hope to contribute to the progress of energy conservation plans of Southeast Asian countries. Our mission is to create optimal proposals by apprehending the reality of the “jyukankyo” of each country or region.

業務用エネルギー・ESCOに関する調査Survey on Commercial Energy Consumption / ESCO
近年は業務用エネルギーに関する調査も手掛けています。対象が広範に及びますが、実情に即したエネルギー消費実態を調査するという当研究所のフィールド主義は変わりません。調査結果をもとに、省エネルギーに向けた導入提案やコンサルテーションも行っています。
ESCOとは、施設の省エネルギー改修にかかる費用を光熱水費の削減分で賄う事業です。ESCOはアメリカで始まったシステムであり、日本では一般社団法人ESCO・エネルギーマネジメント推進協議会が普及に努めています。当研究所の会長である中上英俊がその会長を務めています。当研究所はESCO普及の後押しに向けて、ESCOに関する調査研究を手がけています。
The extensive scope of energy surveys for business use notwithstanding, our field principle in investigating actual energy consumption remains consistent. Based on survey results, we will provide suggestions and consultation on energy conservation.
Hidetoshi Nakagami, chairman of the Institute, serves as the representative director for the Japan branch of ESCO/ Energy Management Promotion Council. The council is currently aiming to disseminate the ESCO business, which originated in the United States. The Institute is engaged in related surveys and studies to support the spread of ESCO projects.
